hi, i’m rachel.
i’m a california girl living in the great lakes region, currently splitting my time between milwaukee and chicago. i work primarily with arts and cultural organizations, museums, nonprofits, and creative teams navigating increasingly online worlds.
most of my work lives somewhere between strategy and storytelling: shaping ideas, refining communication, building campaigns, developing visual direction, and helping organizations create stronger relationships with the people they’re trying to reach.
i’m most interested in establishing creative systems that feel thoughtful, adaptable, and culturally aware, especially across digital, editorial, and social spaces.
fun fact: i moonlight as a fitness instructor. i’ll optimize your marketing campaigns and your core.
my approach
a lot of creative partnerships become weighed down by layers of process, slow communication, disconnected decision-making, or work that feels overly polished but disconnected from the people it’s actually meant to reach. i’m generally more interested in thoughtful collaboration, transparency, adaptability, and creating work that feels human, useful, and aligned with the communities surrounding it.
i tend to approach projects collaboratively, with an emphasis on clarity, experimentation, and long-term creative cohesion over short-term trend chasing.
rather than operating like a traditional outside agency, i prefer to work as an extension of the teams i collaborate with, integrating into existing workflows, learning organizational rhythms, and building systems that feel sustainable long after a campaign or project launches.
